The Highways Authority has given approval for Ladder Hill Road to be closed on Tuesday, 22 August 2023, from 9am to 3pm. This closure is to enable the Roads Section to continue milling works on Ladder Hill Road.
During this closure, Shy Road will also be closed to pedestrians and vehicular traffic. Persons wishing to travel in and out of Jamestown during this time must travel across country and via Constitution Hill Road or Side Path Road.
Appropriate signage will be in place and only Emergency Services will be granted access.

These workshops are free and open to anyone of any age, wanting to learn more about cyber security and staying safe online. You will learn about different types of cyber security threats, how to identify them, how to respond to them and what safeguards you can put in place to protect yourself, your family and your business.

During this closure the Customs switchboard will be operational and any queries can be left with the Administration Assistant on telephone number 22287. Customs staff will reply to your query when they return to work.

The MT Sarah is scheduled to arrive at St Helena tomorrow, Tuesday 8 August 2023, at 6am and will dock alongside Ruperts Jetty.
The public is therefore advised that the whole of lower Ruperts, including the beach area, will be closed to the public from Tuesday, 8August, until the bunkering of fuel is completed. These areas will be strictly prohibited and is limited only to those who have made prior arrangements for authorisation from Port Control.

The Highways Authority has given approval for the road from Seales Corner to the Bridge in Jamestown to be closed on Sunday, 6 August 2023, from 8.30am to 1pm. This closure is to allow tree topping works to continue within the Duke of Edinburgh Playground.
During this closure emergency services will be granted access, however residents and all other road users are asked to use the diversion routes via Seales Corner or Shy Road.
The public are thanked in advance for their understanding and patience at this time, and any inconvenience caused is regretted.
